Purple
Last night I dreamed of a big tree, overgrown with big, lush, purple flowers. I found a site of dream interpretations and looked it up:
Tree
To see lush green trees in your dream, symbolizes new hopes, growth, desires, knowledge, and life. It also implies strength, protection and stability. You are concentrating on your own self-development and individuation.
Flowers
To see colorful flowers in your dream signifies kindness, compassion, gentleness, pleasure, beauty, and gain. It is also symbolic of perfection and spirituality. Flowers in dream, especially if they are blooming, represent your hidden potential and latent talents.
Purple
Purple is indicative of devotion, healing abilities, loving, kindness, and compassion.
But there was another component to this dream. At the base of the tree were two dead birds being devoured by ants.
Birds
To dream of dead or dying birds, indicates disappointments. You will find yourself worrying over problems that are constantly on your mind.
So, clearly, my disappointments are bringing life into new hopes, dreams, and hidden potential. There is healing and devotion in my future, nurtured by my self-actualization and strength.
